Georges joined the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau of the ITU in June 1999. Since
then, he occupied several positions, all related to telecommunication standardization. He is
currently supporting the ITU-T study group on Security after several years of work with the study
group in charge of next generation networks . He is actively involved in the review of working
methods and their adjustment to global standards initiatives (GSI) and the related coordination
activities (within ITU-T and with other partner Standard Development Organizations). He is also in
charge of the GSI on IP Television (IPTV-GSI) and the GSI on identity management (IdM-GSI).
Georges has a long experience in telecommunication and worked previously as a
research engineer with France Telecom.
